The Twelve Realms (A Zodiac Story)
The twelve Zodiacs all live together at a boarding school, but all that changes when Gemini claims she saw a magical airship hovering over the academy. The other eleven protested that there was nothing but despair and clouds in its place, but when the Twelve wake up on the ship after a day that everyone found weird, everything changes . . . The Zodiacs find themselves transported to another world, another realm full of secrets and riddles, where something has gone terribly wrong. It's up to the twelve of them to stop the world from falling into darkness, but . . . "We're just teenagers," Aries argued, slamming her fist onto the map. "How are we supposed to do anything?" Here comes trouble. In Zodia, an island comprised of 12 Kingdoms all ruled under the same monarchy, there is a tradition. Every fifteen years the Queen's protectors, a group of powerful warriors known as the Zodiacs, are replaced. Being a Zodiac doesn't just come with power and responsibility, it is also fame and fortune. As the current Generation of Zodiacs approach their thirteenth year of service, it is time for the Queen to select a new Generation to begin their training. Now enter The Class: a group of thirteen mismatched troublesome high-schoolers who definitely wouldn't be anyone's first pick to defend the Queen. They're cunning, obnoxious, difficult, have terrible habits and sure as hell don't respond well to authority. Everyone in Zodia's high-school knows who you're talking about when you mention 'The Class'. It's the class at the very back of the building. The class with paint on the door and a smashed in window. The class that forced three teachers to quit. The class that is really just a permanent detention center. So what happens when the Queen decides they're going to be Zodia's next Generation of heroes? But what happens when one person from every section gets teleported out of their barriers. Or of the whole country, for that matter. They have to find secrets to take down the government on their journey to take the government down so they can live all together, not just with the same Zodiac. But in the middle of their journey, a mysterious queen with fiery red hair and her brother plan to capture some of the 'Chosen Zodiac' to move forth their plan to take down the government. And then all heck breaks loose. Which side does 'The Chosen Zodiac' take? Is it the right side?
