Sarah Mason and Dashwood Lighton had been best friends for as long as she could remember. They mostly led monotonous lives, going through the same long, prolonged procedures every day.
One day, they got a chance of a lifetime, an escape if you will. They found themselves in detention with a weird combination of people: a jock, a video game nerd, a popular Barbie, and an outcast.
For most, getting detention was a normal part of high school, but what wasn't normal was finding an old game and getting sucked into it, then promptly getting coaxed into saving a world which turned her life around.
So here she was-against her choice, mind you-fighting a hot guy (what? He was!) obsessed with a green stone, all the while trying to survive and battle the arising feelings.
