Kaminari has been alone in her short year of life.. and none of that had been pleasant. Poked and prodded by scientists for as long as she could remember. She isn't even an original person! She is the 10,050 clone of Level 5 esper Mikoto Misaka alive. She was nothing but a copy..The actual last clone, the one nobody knew about, Kaminari ran off the minute she could. She chose her name a few weeks later. Wandering around, taking up the odd chore here and there for money, Kaminari was.. bored. Until she encounters a varuga- a post-human post-animal monster with a taste for human flesh.
Once the monster was taken care of, a young boy by the name of Nai Muhinyi invited Kaminari to the Circus, a defense organization that handle crimes regular security cannot. Up for an adventure, she accepts. However, something is coming.. something big.. something the Earth has never seen before..
