We all know it--me, my friends, and the townfolks. The woods have always been enveloped in darkness. Even in summer, its air is chilled like the frosty winter wind, which also carries the pungent smell of rotting creatures. Its trees hide the eyes that are silently watching us. The sound of its river is thick like gushing mud from a sloping mountain. The birds that entered never came back. Scared adults talk about it and tell their children to stay away to be safe. We know it. The lullaby that we hear every night is an evil enticement. However, some of us have let our curiosity win over our rationality. And so... me and my friends have plunged ourselves into a fateless nightmare. --------------------- Please note that this story is my entry for "The Alluring Woods" contest by Paranormal.

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. Her long, wavy platinum blonde hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes that seemed to stare depths into my soul and keep me frozen in place. I couldn't seem to leave. Her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to catch her breath. I swallowed. One step forward and I could hold her. One tilt of my head and I could kiss her lips. If only I could have a taste of those lips- I have to get out of here. I turned and left, my heart nearly overpowering my brain to stop and go back to her. Only one thought kept me going. Who could ever love a monster? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Hey guys! I'm back with a new story and I've had this idea in my head for quite some time and I'm glad to finally be posting it! Firstly, I got inspiration for this book from a Korean drama called "Goblin" and it's one of the best dramas I've come across after so long. Secondly, no reuploading or copying or plagiarising or whatever it is that is illegal because I will slice your neck and leave you hanging to die :) Jk, maybe. Not really. Thirdly, please enjoy this book and leave comments! Sincerely, Janice GoldShaken *Created, Published & Completed in Year 2017* (Editing Complete ~2018)
