In an alternate universe, a fearful Queen Aleena separates her newborn triplets along with three ancient necklaces with magical properties to make sure they stay out of the hands of the planet's deadliest villain, Mephiles the Dark.

Sonic, the eldest, goes to Aleena's old Freedom Fighter home, Knothole Village with knowledge of her existence. Sonia, the middle child, goes to fashion company owner and great friend of the Queen, Mr. LaTour. And, finally, Manic, the youngest, goes to a family of mechanics. Years later, on their eighteenth birthday, Sonic tries to unite with his siblings, find their mother together, and defeat the evil Mephiles with family friends Silver and Shadow, and rock out in an epic band.

They could never have avoided this outcome. They are no longer fucking kids, and they know it.

Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet?
