But that dream is turned to dust when the fever breaks out leaving the streets of Philadelphia empty and destroying everything in its path, turning Layla's world upside down. But that's not the only problem her widow mother has gotten the fever. Now her and her sister have to flee the city leaving everything they knew in the feverish place they called home.
