Steven the only younger brother and  Rosalie the only older one live in a house alone because their parents died in a car accident. Their grandma,Grandpa, cousins,and uncles visits them sometimes or even have a sleepover. However,one day Rosalie and Steven have new neighbors that always wanted kids but cant have it.When the neighbors visit them, Christine and Peter say things about kids and how bad they want one, the only think Rosalie thinks is that she has to lie to be able to not separate from her brother Steven. But Steven gets to close to the neighbors and feels like they can be his adopted parents! Do you think Rosalie will have to lie and keep lying so nobody can seperate them?? Do you think Steven will tell the truth to the neighbors so they can adopt him and his sister? Maybe yes,maybe no!! Think about it.....that's why the book is called"MY BROTHER IS AN IDIOT!!!
