For 17 years, Lucas Skyer has been caught in a web of pained words. He lived in a richman's neighborhood, being the child of a mother that never fitted in in such a world. But, because of his fathers influences, everyone around him continued to build fake relationship around him. Lucas himself however, ignores every attemp of getting near him. So, the day his parents decides to walk separate ways, Lucas moves away on his own, and changes school. In his head, everyone is the same fake people that can't see anyone else, and to some extent, he's right. But unexpectedly, he stumbles across a girl that has the opposite problem; she can't see herself. And for some reason he keeps bumping into her, saving her from all the cruel people that finds pleasure in bullying her.
At the same time, a girl and a boy, a hilarious couple, keeps going on his nerves. The girl is way too violant to be sane, and the boy seems like he's high all the time. The leader of the"It"-crew of the school keeps pulling in his sleeve, threatening to leak some information that should never exist. Why did this school turn out to be worse than the previous?

-------------
Six months ago, I arrived in Enfield looking for a fresh start. Scarred by an old incident, I hoped life in a new town would help me finally accept myself, but I was wrong because the big change brought something way worse. Blake Jones.
I was on Blake's radar from the first day of our senior year, when he humiliated me in front of the whole school with a "welcome party." However, it wasn't welcoming at all, and it was just the start.
Day after day, Blake was there to remind me I was fat and worthless, and the coward in me never let me defend myself.
Until I finally exploded and fought back, right in the middle of class.
But now? Now I have to pay the price because Blake won't let it slide. He'll make sure I regret it.
Unless I manage to break out of his hatred and my all-consuming fears.
