Were-Partners [On Temporary Hold]

After twelve years in an elite Military combat unit, Ulrike Wagner has to retire. Wanting nothing to do with her family, but needing to use her acquired skills, she decides to join the police. She is happy to be single; her only relationship was brief and ended amicably.
Ulli decides to join the police and become a canine officer. It will be a new challenge for her. After completing her training, she is taken to the kennels to meet the pups and try to find her new partner. As she looked at all the pups, none appealed to her until she saw the little black pup, all alone at the back of a kennel run.
The pup was ugly as sin, anti-social with her peers, and shy when Ulli approached her. The trainers tried to persuade Ulrike to choose one of the other pups, telling her that Ursula seemed unsuited. But when Ulrike and Ursula looked into each other's eyes, Ulrike felt like she had found something that was missing from her life...

This book will have a few introductory chapters then the rest will be non-linear, semi-one shot style chapters that can stand on their own. I won't be writing on a regular schedule, but probably updating at least once a month.
