Mike and Ryan Wyatt's biology teacher explains that he pulled their father out of Millennium National Park as part of a search & rescue team. The boys' mother makes up phony stories that change constantly, regarding their fathers death. The boys decide it is best to take a stab at the cold case themselves. After doing some research a possible lead arises. Mike and Ryan change their course of action, create a fake extra credit assignment, and head off to the park on a mission to follow up on the lead. But before they even make it to the lead, information emerges that pushes them even deeper into the case. It is almost as if there is more to the cold case than imagined. And it is beginning to thaw out. "Operation Bainbridge" is a compelling novel. It is comparable to the T.V. shows "24" and "Prison Break." Start this page turning adventure immediately, before it freezes up again.
