I only recommend this story for people who have seen, understood, and enjoyed the 1986 movie Labyrinth, starring David Bowie(and his awesomeness) as Jareth-the villain-and Jennifer Connelly as Sarah-the main character. For those of you who haven't, watch it before reading this story my amazing brain came up with. Sarah and her friends return in this amazing new adventure, Labyrinth 2: Jareth's Comeback. The all-powerful(and totally frightening) Jareth has returned in need of a bride; a young maiden to assist Jareth's rule in the new era of the goblin kingdom! Alas, the only girl Jareth would ever settle for is Sarah, and it will always be that way. But Sarah-even though she had fallen for him with the help of his tricks in the previous adventure-still sees this magic-wielder as an uncaring, selfish, cruel man. Sarah Williams was the first and only friend Franklin Hartford ever made when she moved to a new town to live with a new foster family. Since Sarah walked right up to Franklin on her first day of freshman year of high school to introduce herself and convince her to join the theatre, they had been attached to the very hip. Now it's their senior year and things in their lives have gotten wild. Franklin had been adopted by her Forster family. Sarah started to wish her father never remarried so that she wouldn't have an annoying little brother. One afternoon the girls realize that Sarah is out past curfew. They had been practicing their lines for their last school play as seniors. Labyrinth. Their rushed journey back to Sarah's house resulted in a rainy argument. The dad and stepmom were leaving to go on their weekly date, making Sarah watch the baby, Toby. Franklin willingly stayed instead of going back home. She witnessed Sarah have a crazed outburst as soon as the adults left. Causing poor Toby to wail and wail. Sarah grew angry and started to yell at the child. Even told him a silly story from their play to shut him up. Then a flash of lightning strikes and there out of nowhere a strange blonde man appears. Claims that he had taken the baby and that if Sarah wants him back she and Franklin must travel through the labyrinth and get the baby themselves. WRITER'S NOTE: Hi, I just wanted to notify you really quickly that I'm actually rewriting this ENTIRE series, considering I was twelve when I started it and I was fourteen when I left everyone hanging. I have released the prologue to the book which is only about two pages long.
