Yup, it is what it says! Some of these might be a little longer than "short", but I'll do my best to separate stories into more digestible parts if needed. Some but not all of these stories are connected, some may even contradict each other. View each of these stories as a completely separate universe unless they reference another story in this book. 
Also, I've made a lot of stuff up, you'll see more on that on the headcanons page! Rated mature because of themes of depression/suicide, only present in certain stories, but please stay safe while reading. I will mark stories with content warnings where needed. Late edit: Thank you all for the support this story has received! However, this story is officially discontinued. I probably will never add to it again, as I've lost interest in this fandom, but I do have plans to write other stories in the future! When? Idk lol. Still, if you'd like to read this story, go for it! It's not like there's an incomplete story since all the shorts are disconnected. With that out of the way, this will be a "yandere" type story, and will have normal Godzilla movie themes in it such as death, spoilers for the movies, and themes I've added in. There will be "talking" kaiju, however they don't physically speak to humans, rather its an insight into their thoughts/feelings.

Your average person named Jake is in need of a job, badly so. He was fired from his last one, and to make things worse, it didn't even have a good pay. He is trying to get enough money to at least live in an apartment, so he'll do anything to get money. Just when he thought things wouldn't work out for him, he found an email from a place called 'Laminax Laboratories'. He ponders for a few seconds before clicking on the email. It was offering him a job, where he performs tests on..'animals'. Despite the obvious red flags, he took the scientist position. Only time will tell what happens to him.
