It's 2014, and the world has ended. Well, not quite. 
Society has ended. The USA is under a cruel dictatorship and the rest of the world is, well, dead. 

Riley Harris' parents were both killed by the government, leaving her an orphan at age 16. She is now 18, and part of  the Freedomers, a group of rebels fighting the government in hopes of regaining the freedom that the nation was once built off of.
