Leo doesn't let anybody in. Ever. Why, when people will just leave you, anyway? Carter, on the other hand, has a way of forcing herself in. Especially when it comes to Leo, who she can't help but feel a tinge of curiosity with. What Leo doesn't know, is Carter isn't as carefree and naive as she lets him believe- she's got her own people she's afraid to face. Together, Leo overcomes his hesitancy of letting people in, and Carter revisits the past she left behind years ago. This is the summer they let go of their fears and, with the help of one another, learn to let go of the past, as well.

"That was ages ago, how do you still remember that?" "Because when I walked into that room, I was mesmerized by the image of you. That was the most beautiful sight I have seen in my entire life. A moment so special it made all of my senses come to a standstill. I just couldn't look away. If I had snapped a photo of you back then, you probably would have thought I was an odd one, so I didn't. But god, I wish I had. I remember walking back into my room that evening and cursing my hands for not being able to draw. If I ever learn how to-which I will-that memory will be the first thing my pencil will mimic on paper." • 𖤝 • Daisy had her life back in order-or so she deluded herself into thinking-until one reckless mistake has her spiraling out of control again.
