Eddie Munson was the freak of Hawkins High even before the rumors started. With the deaths of kids piling up and no one else to take the blame, the town turned against Eddie as the leader of Hellfire Club. While you normally kept your head down and stayed away from trouble, something about the rumors surrounding Eddie didn't feel right. The school reporters would certainly be doing some research for the paper, but you wanted to talk to Eddie first hand. Of course that meant finding him first and convincing him you weren't part of the Hawkins witch-hunt. With your past history together, you may have a way into Eddie's heart that no one else does.
