It has been too long since I've seen the shows to rouse up the motivation to care about the characters again and I can't write without caring. My apologies to anyone who was waiting for n update, and sorry to anyone who came here hoping for a story that updates.

Y/n L/n, 24, was looking to start a new life when she moved to the French Quarter of New Orleans. And a new life is exactly what she got.
Niklaus Mikaelson, one of the Original Vampires, is doing everything to protect what is rightfully his. Though his methods are a fair bit unorthodox, he only wishes for those he loves and cherishes to be safe.
( Y/n will have long brunette hair and brown eyes. She is an even 150 lbs and stands at a height of 5 foot. Just so y'all have an idea of what y'all look like before the story starts because I'll most likely forget to add her characteristics until later.)

"Do you know what kind of monster I am?!" His voice bellowed out.
"No." I said, shaking my head, "But I do know what kind of man you are."
He took faltering steps toward as tears weld in his broken eyes.
"You are not a monster, Niklaus." I whispered. He was only a foot away from me now, and I could see how hurt he was.
His shirt was torn, revealing large gashes in his abdomen and his face was cut and battered. My heart clenched at the sight, wanting nothing more than to reach out and fix everything for him.
