Ardamin Tales: Number 3 - Viridian.
A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made. The Prison Realm
Rosa Valez found herself sucked through a portal and into a completely alternate universe to be sold as a slave. She's a mother hen to all the newbies in this god-awful world, but it keeps her too busy to think about how hopeless her situation is. When a sickness starts to spread among her fellow slaves, it will only be a matter of time before they all get sick and left for dead. She can't afford to play it safe anymore. If she can find the right sucker to buy her, she might be able to escape and free everyone. Garin'thar has been living among his fellow orc tribesmen raiding nomads in the Prison Realm. When he finds an undeniable human for sale he suddenly decides that maybe he can have the wholesome domestic life he's secretly always wanted. He has no idea what Rosa has in store from him, and she has no idea what Garin'thar is willing to do to keep her.

"Monsters exist. Heroes died. Hell has taken over the world, put humans into slavery, killed men, women, and children, but there are still warriors, who are recruited. This is our world, where kids at the age of thirteen begin fighting the dangers that face our world; they train and at the age of eighteen they will be put out into the real world. Schools were built everywhere, and kids were moved up based on their age. My world was a little different, my brother and I were trained ever since we could walk; we were put into battle once we reached seven years old. Today my parents are transferring me and my brother to a new school, before we were homeschooled but since my dad and mom are going to be leaving for quite some time they thought it was best for us to go to a real school where we will interact with other groups."Complete

A recurring nightmare that refuses to leave her alone and taints her sleep. The end result is a little more than she bargained for and Lily finds herself thrown into a situation she would never have dreamed of.
