"Go back to bed, whelp." A gruff voice said. I saw Vilkas slumped in a chair in the opposite corner and immediately stood; he was so still I didn't notice him.
"Why?" I challenged him, noticing his odd position as I stepped closer.
"Because I said."
"And when did you become Harbinger?" He huffed a laugh, but didn't smile.
"You're learning quick."
After several years abroad, all Nova wants is to return to her home country of Skyrim and live a peaceful life. She returns to a country at war, where she has few allies and fewer friends. After surviving a near-execution and a dragon attack, her world changes forever. In an effort to find a new lease on life, she joins the Companions, a legendary band of warriors. Unfortunately, all is not as it seems. Part 1 of 4.

The Dragonborn's Curse
Torn between the wild loyalty of Aela the Huntress and the dark allure of Serana, the Dragonborn walks a path of blood and destiny. As war rages and the hunt for the Elder Scrolls begins, one choice will change her fate forever-werewolf, vampire, or something far more dangerous. It follows a lot of the story and script, but with variation and expansion. There's a lot of romance, a love triangle, and spicy smut. Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak. I had to write a fanfiction of how I would have loved for the story to go, tying in details from the game. ***Please note, this is an LGBTQIA+ work. Having enemies such as Vulono and Miraak have left her uneasy. Then rumors of a Vampire Coven returning to power starts to threaten peace in Skyrim with the legend of the Tyranny of the Sun.
