Flannery is your average girl, until she dies and reincarnates into a novel she once read about. She decides to not let the novel unravel as it normally would, since she will die by the age of 21 at the hands of the tyrannical first prince Dolan. So she comes up with a plan to not only have an emergency fund, but also work in the shadows to make sure the original hero of the story, the third prince Dugan, meets the original female lead and wins the throne before Dolan does.
However, at the coronation, things seems to take an unexpected turn.
