Her ex-boyfriend, Franklin, had left Jody and her daughter once he'd found out she was pregnant, they haven't heard from him since. But what happens when Jody meets a boy she thought she'd never know? This boy is Eddie "The Freak" Munson.

She and Steve quickly become your best friends after you move in with your cousin, Dustin. The long haired, ever himself, fellow student and good friend of Dustin, catches your eye. Navigating life isn't as easy as you'd hope but your friends and the so called 'freak' you've fallen for help. Trigger warnings for abuse/child abuse. Drug & alcohol use. Strong language. Sex/sexual acts. Self-harm/talk of suicide. Assault. There are not warnings at the beginnings of chapters. Some themes are rather dark and may be triggering - hence the warnings here. POV story, Y/N format. Slow burn, kinda. Heavy relationship focus leading up to the events in season 4. Not everything will fit with the show but it's a fiction anyway so *shrug* All Stranger Things characters obviously belong to the incredible Duffer Brothers.
