Katsuki Bakugo, at four years old was the first of his class to know what it felt like to have a soulmate. It was warm and tingly and fuzzy. It was light, bright and beautiful. It was everything he is not.

Katsuki Bakugo at four years old also knew what it felt like to have a dead soulmate. It was lonely, and cold, and eternal darkness. It was fitting because it was everything he embodies.

Soulmates. Since the beginning of time, soulmates existed, connecting two individuals with a bond so strong that nothing could fracture. No matter who you were or from where you were, your soulmate was the one person who would fulfill every need and meet all your expectations to the fullest. Even though the universe gave the world the privilege of providing them with their other half, the process of finding the one and only wasn't easy. Fingerprints. Every touch between soulmates was etched with transient beauty. When one's fingers brushed against the skin of their soulmate, it left behind a temporary imprint that mirrored the intricate patterns of their fingerprints. These marks were as fleeting as they were beautiful, lasting only a few minutes before vanishing. This phenomenon added a layer of poignant tenderness to the search for a soulmate. For those lucky few who experienced it, the sensation was unmistakable - a warm, gentle tingling, a resonance that seemed to echo through their very being. It was a moment of profound recognition, a silent, luminous language speaking of a connection that transcended time and space. However, the elusive nature of these marks meant that many brushed fingers with their destined partner without ever realizing it. Busy streets, crowded markets, the brush of a hand in a bustling cafe - any of these could be the fateful place where paths crossed, yet the moment passed unrecognized.

Soulmates. The most talked about topic in the world. You can use a special pen to write on your arm. Whatever you write will appear on them. The ink is invisible to everyone, which makes it even harder to find your soulmate. The pen can change colours when the person writing is feeling a different emotion. Most colours have multiple meanings. The shade of the colour depends on how strong or light the emotion is, for example, if your soulmate is extremely angry, the writing will be dark red, when their slightly irritated, the writing would be a light/pastel red. You cannot write certain details to your soulmate, like your name, country, address, school, on your body. You CAN however, give them a nickname that only they can use. You may be wondering, how do you find your soulmate? Well, it's very luck based. You'll feel unnaturally drawn to the person. To finally find out if you're soulmates or not, you'll have to kiss. Once you kiss them, a beautiful bright light surrounds the both of you, binding your souls together for eternity. Kirishima is a bright and bubbly person who is rarely upset. When he IS upset, he doesn't write to his soulmate. Due to his... rough childhood, he never really wrote to his soulmate until the end of middle school. He constantly doodles on his skin but quickly wipes it away even though the ink is invisible and only he can see it. His soulmate, on the other hand, is a handful. Bakugou constantly writes to his soulmate about his problems. When he was a kid, he thought he didn't have a soulmate due to everyone else in his class talking to them as soon as they could write but his would never answer. Once his soulmate finally wrote to him for the first time, he was overly excited, though he wouldn't admit it out loud. He is usually angry so his writing is usually red but his soulmate doesn't mind. THIS IS A NO QUIRK AU AS WELL AS A SOULMATE AU!!! ARTWORK ISNT MINE!!!!!
