Still heartbroken from a brutal encounter with the love of her life, Juliette embarks on a hunt to explore her vampirism. Maybe now was the time to show her family that she has had enough. She doesn't care about the destruction that she leaves in her path; she just needs to feel something.

Maybe she'll get her heart back from her captor. Then again, her parents always told her to lead with her head, and not her heart. She should have listened. Maybe then, this pain would stop.

While Calliope feels guilty, she is always reminded of the fact that Theo is a vampire. Juliette turned Theo, knowing that there was a possibility of him becoming a vampire. Cal wasn't ready to forgive Juliette, but she was ready to show her family that she's the best monster hunter that there is.
