Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective. Kokichi Oma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader. Two complete polar opposites from each other. A truthful being and one who lies on a daily basis. Both of which were forced into the same killing game that they've seen on television, a fictional world where anything goes.
The killing game is now over and those same 16 characters are now adjusting to life in the fictional world with no possible way out. Having to now relocate themselves to Hope's Peak due to the destruction of the Academy, their new lives begin. But, things are very different. They aren't being forced to kill each other for the sake of television or for the sake of despair itself. They can now live as they choose and return to the life of friendship and liveliness they were all a part of before this whole show began.
As time goes on, Shuichi and Kokichi grow closer to each other despite their differences. But when one of them grows feelings for the other, the twists and turns of this new life could impact how it ends for them both.
