recluse is a human who fell into the underground, and was experimented on by dr. w.d.gaster until her own escape. she must find herself and her way in the underground, and overcome the fact that she's now a monster. both physically, and to her own sister.

With monsters sealed underground, Zak, a nature loving Perseverance Soul and Eilidh, a warm hearted Empathy Soul, find themselves in a world of misfortune - spiraling down into a world unfamiliar to them, struggling to adapt to the dire circumstances. With monsters managing to discover how to fully manipulate their soul to the point where abilities such as Soul Splitting have been discovered - as well as magic embedding - the struggle of returning home will be no easy task for the pair. How will they cope with the dangers of being forced to face their darkest fears? Royaltale Season 1
This is an Undertale AU I originally planned on making back in 2019 but, I wasn't capable of making all the character designs and forgot about it for two years. A few months ago, I thought about redrawing the only two designs and reviving it as well as changing most of the original plot and instead of making a comic series, I'm writing it so it will be easier to think about more designs. OCs are included in this AU. If you would like yours to make an appearance, message, or tag me to discuss when they can appear. This is season 1 of the series and it will basically follow the events of Undertale because there was a strange, unexpected reset after 10 years of living on the surface. Now, it's up to Frisk to help her friends remember their lives before the reset and save the world before Flowey tries to kill all of humanity as well as monsterkind and Mystickind. Can the determined human survive yet another perilous journey through the Underground or will everyone fall to Flowey's hands (leaves?)?

They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. After the war, the monsters retreated into the deepest part of the Underground, which would be called, "Home." - Note: In chapter one i NICKNAME frisk "Sam" Due to the fact you dont figure out their name until the end of pacifist so i had to put a nickname to make it easier to write and read. Sam is a neutral name so it should be fine. - NOTE: All lines with this symbol " * " is going to be in Wing Ding font in the final release of the book. But for now, it is already deciphered for you! - *So yeah!
