Scarlet was a young girl when it all happened. She was eight. She hid under the bed of her parents' room. Her eyes flickered with fear. As the katana stabbed througlh the bed, the blood seeped slowly through and dripped on her cheek. She slowly begun to whisper "M--," but stopped so they would not hear. The men then poured gasoline on the body and floor. Then, as the last man left the room, he lit the match and tossed it into the gasoline, as everything caught fire. At first, she laid there all alone; as the smoke grew thicker and filled her lungs, she finally snapped out of it. She got up and climbed out the window and down to the alley. She ran down the alley as she fell beside a trash can.
