Rome Angelo died at the age of 21 after saving everyone from a burning public bus and woke up at a 3rd rate novel he read when he was in College as a joke at the insistence of his dorm mates who told him that a character with the same name as him was the white moonlight of the villain of the novel he's reading and told him to read it too and made him write a character analysis of the villain as a penalty. During that time he didn't know he'd be transmigrated at the novel and treated everything as a joke, and even written down that the villain deserves what happened to him afterwards after killing the character with the same name as his, but now, looking at Alexei Devin, the villain of the story, standing right in front of him, waiting for an answer from him with eyes begging him to at least lie to him if the truth would hurt him, he realized, he didn't want to hurt this man and even decided to make everyone happy for now and leave him once he and the protagonist gets together with him.

However, he didn't know that when the protagonist arrived:

Alexei: "He has such great eyes, doesn't he?"
Rome: "What do you mean great eyes? It's colored mud," not realizing that he has the same color of eyes as the protagonist

After a few minutes:

Rome: "Lexei, don't look at other's eyes or I'll blind them, alright? Just look at me, my eyes only look at you, after all."
