Having survived as the most feared fighter in the pits for over a dozen years, her mental health has increasingly deteriorated to the point where she is constantly hearing a voice in her head telling her to break out of the stone cell she sleeps in between fights, as she had a destiny to fulfill. After blacking out when the voice finally got too loud, she wakes up on a dirt road in a land she doesn't recognize. With an uncertain future, she looks to restart her life, not knowing that events beyond her knowledge have already started to move in ways that will force her to fight for things that the fighting pits never could have prepared her for. Antique stores have always given me a mysterious feeling. Every object inhabiting those stores have a story of their own. Some stories you can find with a simple click of a button while others you have to put in work. I fill my house with stories that aren't mine so I have something to get away from the modern world. The thing is when one of these antiques actually take me away from my modern world I don't know what to do. The "monster" my husband claims is taking me away as the days go by is no monster.
