Fanning The Flames

Generations ago a fire blazed across the world, consuming almost everything it its path, leaving the world in a broken state. Leader from every country gathered for a solution and their solution was the moon. It would be a voluntary system, those who whished to stay and those who wish to leave, and soon peace was found on both worlds. But the Earth is dying, those who stayed consumed it's natural resources and are now looking for an escape. Those living on the moon refuse to allow them to come up, saying it will destroy the world they worked so hard to create, creating conflict and fire again.

Elyse was born on the moon, growing up in the farmer district in peace, not knowing the heat of the fire from generations ago. She hopes to not only save her people, but those on Earth itself. But how could she succeed when she's only a farmer girl?
