Devastation blankets the entirety of the wizarding world. The war ended up doing more damage, not only emotionally and physically, but even academically. In light of things, some of the previous seventh-years have decided to return in order to finish the rest of their schooling they were deprived of in the past year.

Katalina Lee: Former Ilvermony student who was forced to transfer to Hogwarts for a redo of her seventh year due to an "unfortunate accident" involving a fellow student. The new presence of the lively American is just what Hogwarts needed for it to feel like it did before everything unfolded ... and then some.

Katalina more than lifts spirits. Especially when it comes to having a knack for drawing any and all attention to her. Not only that, but she also comes to find out that things at Hogwarts are not like they were back home in America. No one was prepared for her natural way of being an unfiltered, walking, culture shock.

Her bubbly personality, unfiltered thoughts, clumsiness, extroversion, and comedic aura is what draws everyone in. More specifically, a platinum-haired Slytherin who has the unfortunate pleasure of sharing close quarters with the estranged woman due to overcrowding. Though it doesn't take long for her to break through the shell he put up since the war ended. He finds her strangely comforting and a bit fun to be around. Maybe coming back this year wasn't such a bad idea after all.
