She has always dreamed of winning the Hunger Games, but she knew she needed to win when her father left them with little to no money. Cato has trained for the Hunger Games since he was 8. Nearly everyone in his family has volunteered for the Hunger Games and most have come home as victors. His family always pressures him to win the Hunger Games and come home as a victor. Cato and Clove have despised each other for the longest time. What happens when they enter the 74th Hunger Games together? ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE OWNED BY SUZANNE COLLINS. What if district 13 didn't get blown up? And what if there was a 14th district hidden from everyone? District 14 wasn't known to the public, it was kept hidden due to the lack of people. They were told that as soon as their population increased than they would be entered into the Hunger Games. Only they didn't know it would be this soon. Peacekeepers stormed the mediocre town of District 14 where they announced that only one person every year, between the ages of 12 to 18, was to be entered into the Hunger Games. When Marlowe Ordell hears the announcement she fears for the life of her 12 year old brother. There was a 1 in 400 chance that he gets called and he'd be all alone. She never once thought about her own life until she was the one to be called. She runs into a Career Tribute who takes an interest to her. Iris and Clove were forced to compete in the 75th annual hunger games quarter quell. They were spilt up when Beetee came up with a plan that would kill the other tributes. But as soon as Iris heard a cannon panic set in as she searched for Clove only to find the wire by itself. In search of Clove a unexpected explosion happened sending Iris flying, darkness overcoming her. She woke up in a hovercraft with loads of people around her that she didn't recognize and didn't answer her questions. So now she is left in the darkness all alone with questions in her head. All right go to Suzanna Collins I only own some of the names. I enjoy writing these for you to enjoy and these books are a way to escape for a second. This book is a second sequel to, We were just Kids (Clove Kentwell) if you enjoyed that book I hope you will enjoy this book just as much or more.
