GRACE "BARBIE" MITCHELL, and Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, went to Top Gun together and graduated in the same class. 

They always had a flirty nature about them, but to the public they were just friends. So, when Bradley gets deployed before Grace and ends whatever they had going on, Grace was destroyed.

4 years later they get called back to Top Gun to try and participate for a spot in this new dangerous mission. How will they react when seeing each other for the first time in years?

Oh, not to mention that Grace and Bradley's dads went to Top Gun together. Yep, Grace's dad is Pete Mitchell "Maverick".
