'The world is dark and grim after All Might quit. The shadows have come out after he retired. Villains outnumber the heroes now. Crime fills the streets. There's no one to stop them... but me. Ever since that moment, it's all I think about. I've trained for years. After months of being Musutafu's shadow, they're starting to notice me. They call me the Batman. I don't need a name, all I need is their fear. I want to make an impact but they don't see it. They take inspiration from me, making crime rates rise. I want to say what I'm doing is good but what if it makes it worse?' Izuku said as he watched over the robbery in the distance. He knew the robbers might hurt people so he needed to move quickly despite his mental argument.

This AU will have most of the the characters from the show My Hero Academia and there will be some ships that I will include in the story, but before I can continue, I want to point out that I do not owe the show or the characters (other than a few of my OC's), I am just a fan who just wanted to write this AU for fun.
