Aphrodite the goddess of love has an arranged marriage with the god Hephaestus. The two have nothing in common. Aphrodite is friendly and out-going, Hephaestus prefers to spend his time alone. Aphrodite is beautiful, Hephaestus isn't. As the goddess of love, Aphrodite knows they're will never be anything better her and Hephaestus, but as she spends more time with him, her feelings begin to grow. 
After the disappearance of a goddess, Olympus is in chaos, and Aphrodite might know a little bit more about it than she lets on.
