In a small town in Essex, 15-year-old Angel lives in a little house with her lone mother. She expects the worst when entering year 11. However, nothing had prepared her to see Cody again, her best friend in primary school. The long forgotten worlds their child minds had woven unravel once more. As they get to know each other better, as their bond deepens so does the big secret each one is keeping from the other. The two teenagers get tangled in with their friends' laughter and rowdiness. But what secrets lie beneath the peaceful surface? How will Angel land herself in the Class A Team?

This story is based off the song 'A Team' by Ed Sheeran. It imagines the life of Angel, the girl the song is about. Except for the song, its backstory and Ed Sheeran himself, all characters and events I invented. It's totally okay if you're not a sheerio. He only shows up briefly at the end.
