Good evening Panem and welcome to the 102nd annual hunger games! This year we will have 24 tributes aged 12-18 to into the arena and fight Each other to the death no matter what the cost, we have an action packed games!!!

Well ok that was a lie, there won't be 24 tributes but there will be action, romance, probably some sarcasm, and really bad jokes. You may be able to relate to some of this stuff but I won't go into any more detail than that, for now Ciao!!!

(REUPLOADED - deleted at 3k reads) Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name that is often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. The gasps that arose afterwards were monumental. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Many stood there and thought, "He's just a pretty face. How could he possibly bring home the victor's crown?" However, some people are far more than a pretty face. In fact, it's even said that those with such captivating allure are most often the ones that can catch you off guard and bring you to your knees. __________________________ Excerpt: ❝25, 24, 23...❞ I can do this. I have the skills, the desire--I can win. It's possible. I know it's possible. The odds may be against me, against all of us, but one of us has to win. ❝15, 14, 13...❞ So to everyone in Four watching; to my mom, dad, and Annie Cresta, I'm making a promise to you. ❝7, 6, 5, 4...❞ Whatever happens here, I will fight like hell to come back home, ❝3, 2, 1...❞ I promise you. Everyone thought they were fighting for equality. That they were fighting, primarily, to end the Hunger Games. To end the brutal murder of twenty-three children each year. People killed for this, fought for it, died for it. But they lied. The bodies have barely been cleared from the streets before President Coin makes an announcement; the Hunger Games will continue. But the children of the Districts are safe. It's the Capitol children who face death this time around, and everyone is excited for the fun to begin.
