This is the last thing she imagines when she snuck out of her bedroom at this freezing time of the day. At first, all she thought was another patrolling guard who managed to catch her enjoying the flowers in the garden...in the middle of the night.
But no...the closer she looks, the closer the figure steps towards her... ever so gracefully...
Lynden represses a gasp, as her eyes go wide, stunned while the person, who also has the same bewilderment expression, stares back at her.
Almost as if by fate that pulls the knight and her crush together on this peaceful, yet chilly night. Almost like, in her racing mind, the only chance that the Goddess gifts her with.

I can only see half of his face, reflected in the mirror at the front of the bus, and part of that is obscured by the peak of the black company-branded cap he's wearing. But I can see enough to glean that there's a strong jaw covered in scruff. A wide mouth that looks like it would be prone to smiling. He's wearing glasses with trendy light tortoiseshell frames, and I can't quite discern the colour of his eyes from my position . . . but some weird intuition is telling me that they'll be hazel, and I wonder when my brain is going to catch up. Because I *know* him, don't I? I'm almost certain of it. And he seems to know me, too. Or at least he thinks he does. The way he's glancing over at me lets me in on that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mirren Shepherd has *many* pet peeves. Top of the list, though? Staycations . . . And surprises. So when her girls' trip abroad is cancelled at the last minute and she finds herself roped into a minibus tour of Northern Scotland instead, she isn't remotely happy. And when she finds out who their guide is . . . It's yet another reason for her to dislike surprises. Because Owen Sullivan wasn't so much the one who got away . . . He was the one who just didn't return. And, after she finally got over him, she never expected to see him again. Mirren would prefer to leave the past in the past, but Owen is determined to try to right his wrongs. Can she trust him? Can she trust *herself*? Maybe, just maybe, this surprise - and staycation - won't be as bad as Mirren thinks . . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~

There is something everyone is blind to At 5:00 a.m., the sun rises early. An old maid, dressed neatly with an eyeglass strap around her neck and an expressionless face, enters a house. Despite being recently built and located near the roadside, the house appears shabby due to the untended walls and garden, which are covered with large bushes and vines. As the maid steps into the villa, she is greeted by darkness and gloom. She opens the windows, allowing the hot air to escape and letting in a sliver of light from outside. This light reveals a stunning interior filled with a variety of intriguing items. Anyone who sees the neatly arranged books and items inside would never believe that the outside and the inside are part of the same building. She prepares a delightful breakfast and carries the freshly made French toast and a glass of orange juice to the first floor. Anyone who sees it would think she is serving a god. Another dark room greeted her. Inside, a young, attractive girl in her 20s with long, straight black hair was reading a book in bed. As the maid entered, the girl turned towards her. Despite being blind, she held a book in her hand, a sight that might evoke laughter or sympathy from others. The maid, however, remained emotionless. As the maid placed the dish on the table and was about to leave, she said, "Ma'am, it's breakfast time." There were no words, just a small nod. The girl called out 'Emma'.The maid turned to face the girl, this time she was smiling

Black and White, Darkness and Light (Nico di Angelo x Fem! Reader) ''The loneliest people are the kindest. The saddest people are the brightest. The most damaged people are the wisest. All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do.'' - Unknown Nico di Angelo is always represented as the darkness. Everyone at camp is scared by him because his father is the god of the underworld and represents death. He doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't play with anyone and doesn't want anything to do with anyone. He's afraid that people he cares about will disappear and hurt him. Just like the death of his sister that left a hole inside him. ''Our fate is that of a tragic love story. And yet, here I am, unable to let him go. Directing the both of us to our appalling end.'' Y/n L/n is described as the light, the magic and the happiness. But on the inside, she's just as broken as any other demigod. She's been living with the feeling of loss present in her, as if she is already dead. But she doesn't want anyone to see that, so she makes an effort to be happy and bright to everyone. She takes care and worries for everyone. Sometimes though, she loses control of her emotions and goes back to what she used to be: a monster! One day, while Y/n is helping her mother, she receives the visit of an old friend. He is pleading her to help the camp Half Blood. She immediately leaves her mother behind. Through fights, magic, tears, strategies and practices, she will find something new. Something that will appear only when a certain death boy is around. Is it love? Or, maybe, simply curiosity? They are just like darkness and light, two completely different people with a similar past. But we do say that opposites attract, right? This story will contain mature things such as sexual scenes, violence and swearing! Read at your own risks!

'If I squinted, the fairy lights were like a sky full of stars. It was a warm night, but the cool breeze tickled my cheeks as I basked in the sea of midnight blue and twinkling gold above me. "So beautiful," I muttered. "Yeah," said Jen, "Exquisite." I glanced over at her. She wasn't looking at the lights; she was looking at me.' When Grace moves to college, she's happy to just keep her head down, glad to finally have an escape from her dad. She hadn't even thought about the possibility of managing to make friends, let alone a blossoming romance with her effortlessly cool roommate. She finds herself falling head over heels, and diving head first into a world of pleasure and pain. *Content warning: sex, physical abuse, sexual abuse, bdsm*
