After the rocky ending of Spencer and Jay's relationship at the end of season four, Spencer is trying to heal her broken heart while Jay decides that he is going to do everything possible to fight for her. He let her go, and he was determined to win her back. 

Things used to be so simple. 

Spencer slowly starts to fall apart as more loss and hurt fills her life. 

Does Jay have what it takes to win her back? 

Can Spencer get through the hard times in her life?

Spencer welcomes her half sister; Lottie, into her life and learns to love the curly haired girl. Lottie and Spencer are both so different, but maybe that's why they're so alike. 

Lottie's a dancer. Prides her life on being under the spotlight. 

Spencer's a detective. She spends her life trying to keep her face off the news. 

As Jay tries to win the love of his life back, Spencer struggles to let him back in after how he hurt her before. Just as she learns to lean on him again, somebody from her past pops up and mails something to Jay that changes everything. 

Every time she thinks she's gotten away from her past and Peter, it creeps back up behind her.
