Valerie Young. She's from Miami,Florida with a mother who's a raging alcoholic and has definitely caused her daughter to take in some of her partying habits. But not only that, she's caused her daughter to constantly be her parent because she won't stop drinking. So obviously her mother uprooted their life and moved them to Hawkins,Indiana, a shitty and not so sunny town. But Valerie is experiencing a block. She hasn't made a single friend. Despite being in school for a month or two now, she wasn't having an easy time making friends as she once did. But what happens when the latest talk of the school just happens to be her next door neighbor?
