So basically the story starts off with Maxine in class thinking about her boyfriend of 6 months. She goes to lunch and back to classes then an after school program where she sees her boyfriends little sister.
After the program they walk to her bf house and a misunderstanding costs her, her relationship. Apparently though the only one misunderstanding is her.
(Maxine is 18 and is in her last year of high school with her boyfriend. He only moved her a few years back after his father "retired")
