Then his hands and lips are everywhere and I have to bite down on my tongue to keep from screaming out loud, lest my father hears and I ruin our little secret."
Juliette is the daughter of Dr. Martin Brenner, better known as "Papa." She knows her father loves his other "children" more than his own biological one, which is why she's so excited to move out to her dream college.
But then an incident occurs revealing that Juliette is not just the average girl she thought she was. Juliette finds herself right in the middle of her fathers lab, alone with a newfound power, and assigned to train with Peter Ballard, a man she hates, a man who might be hiding something dark underneath those bright blue eyes and sweet smile.
Can the two navigate this labyrinth together or will they drown underneath the weight of it all?
