"And do you ever hear the moon talk?" he followed.

"Yes." Dawn nodded. "In my dreams. but you must not know."

"Why?" Raven spat, voice dripping with rage.

"Because she told me what I need to do to you. The prophecy."

The tall monster tensed. He knows that a person named 'Dawn' is his death-bringer. His father informed him about the prophecy, his fate. He clenched his fist, fangs ready to eat Dawn and finally kill her once and for all. But still he could not do what needs to be done. Something inside him begs to let Dawn live.

"And what did she tell you?" he said the words like acid in his tongue.
Dawn stared at his crimson eyes consumed with agony and darkness yet enchanting.

"She told me that I have to save you."

"I saw you and you were just standing there. I started walking towards you and you-just-just stood there." Stuttered Stiles. "I tapped on your shoulder and you turned around. You didn't answer me. You didn't even notice I was there. You just stared at something, something that wasn't visible and y-you-" Paused Stiles, whose legs were vibrating and he started to breathe heavily. "And I what?" I asked trying to get the words out. "You died." He stated. "What?" Asked I, like he had just said the most craziest thing ever. It was slightly humorous. He had to be joking, I thought to myself. "You- just died." Murmured Stiles, who had stopped shaking and had stood up. -------------- The world consists of many parallel multiverses. Each separate and unique. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. "Why would I want to do that?" he murmurs, his voice smooth but carrying a dark undertone that chills me. He takes a step forward, and instinctively, I step back. "I've just found you..." SPECIAL Dark MM romance Raven Hethens Miller never belonged in the world he was born into. Raised by wealthy, controlling parents who demanded he follow in their footsteps, he rejected their life of power and privilege for something far darker-crime, chaos, and the adrenaline rush of solving murders. When he finally cuts ties and moves into an abandoned, modern-built house on the outskirts of the city, he expects nothing but silence and solitude. But instead, he finds something watching him. Every night. Every step. Every moment alone. A black rose appears at his doorstep, and everywhere, delicate yet haunting. A message. A warning. A claim. Raven isn't afraid-he's too arrogant to be afraid. But as the shadows stretch behind him and the eerie feeling coils tighter, he knows this isn't just paranoia. Someone is there. Lurking. Waiting. And he's always being watched. The beast has been hidden in the darkness for years. A ghost in the underworld. A beast in the shadows. A man who built an empire of blood and vengeance. The house Raven moved into? It haunted Raven more with black roses. And now, so is Raven. No matter how much the detective resists, no matter how many clues he pieces together, there's one truth he can't escape: The beast doesn't just want him. He will own him.
