Athena Sheppard is moving in with her dad full-time after only ever spending the summers with him. The plus to moving in with Dad is Aurora Beach. Oh does Athena love the beach and her long-time beach best friend Milo. Maybe now that she lives there full time she can finally tell him? Milo lives on Aurora Beach year round so nothing is new for him this summer, except for the fact that his long-time best friend Athena is now going to live on the beach not just during the summer but all year. Maybe now he can finally confess his feelings to her that he has had since the first time she spent a whole summer at the beach.

To get involved with each other would certainly end in disaster.... Or would it? Put in each other's lives when they both desperately need someone can't be a coincidence... Or could it? What are the odds that he understands her and she understands him? Can their unlikely friendship turn into something more or will others intervene? With so many odds against them can they find a way to power through together? Or will they be struck down? You know what they say. If you can't run then walk. If you can't walk then crawl. If you can't crawl.... Then maybe try swimming.
