Gifts Given By the Ocean can also be taken back. After the death of the Village Head, estranged cousins Mandeeq and Shermake reunite at their Grandfather's funeral where their fathers fight over who would be the Heir to the village. With tensions running high and the greed of Humanity leading only to ruin, Mermaids who had once bestowed gifts upon the Village people now revoke them by dragging the Village to the bottom of the Ocean. Being the only two left standing with the help of a Mermaid who is shunned by the underwater society, it's up to Mandeeq and Shermake to save their family and their village from themselves, and the mermaids who seek to take back their gifts.
