She hadn't talked to him in years. Every time something about him happened on the TV, she switched it off. It was hard, but she did her best to avoid anything involving him, conversations, news reports, tech with his name on it, she never wanted anything to do with him again.
Catherine never wanted to see her brother again. She had gone so far as to change her last name so she had no association with him. He was arrogant, reckless, and only thought for himself. When her apartment burned down with all her belongings inside it, she had no choice but to call him. Little did she know he was also harboring the God of Lies, Loki, who showed more interest in her side of the story than anyone had in years. From her home being destroyed to a potential relationship with Loki, Catherine could see things burning everywhere. But maybe that wasn't a bad thing.
