Izuku Yagi is a relatively normal kid, except for the fact that he has a deep connection with the Speed Force. While he was originally unable to use it due to power dampeners and brainwashing, Izuku fell into an unstable particle accelerator and was struck by lightning immediately after, rewriting his brain chemistry and removing the brainwashing, as well destroying the power dampeners within him.

(I am in the process of rewriting this, a new story with the same name should be out on my profile soon)

Namura Yuji was a normal 15 year old with a pretty crappy quirk. He's quite the trouble maker; a delinquent at school with questionable marks and friends. He starts running drugs for extra cash and runs into trouble when a group of scientists try to steal his delivery of Trigger (a drug that enhances the users quirk temporarily) off him. They release some sort of monster on him and to get away he injects himself with the drug, enhancing his own quirk. Except it isn't temporary, it sticks around. So now he's got a way better, not crappy quirk. Becoming a teenage vigilante is the logical next step, of course. Meeting Eraserhead was purely an accident and anything past that was just bad luck. (obviously I don't own bnha. I feel like all my stories center around U.A and school life so I wanted to shake things up with a character that doesn't enter U.A at all. I also wanted to work with a quirk that looks pretty unassuming at first.)
