The Nelsons are normal. Most people wouldn't think that the main protagonists of a story should be normal, but they are. They have their quirks as all families do, but the Nelsons really are your typical stereotype: young couple get married, move into a house, and settle with three children. Jess Nelson's family had no superpowers. Theo Nelson's family had absolutely no sense of adventure. Unfortunately, their lives were nothing like the heroes in their favorite books and shows. But what would a normal family stereotype be without the weird uncle? And what about the house that the certain uncle lives in that happens to have a magical library with books that house some of the most famous heroes (and villains) of all time?
