The only child of Crank, the ruler of the Cryptic Land, is Alisa. Humanity has the ability to transform into a revered creature in the Cryptic Land; those who are unable to do so or who are unable to even communicate with their inner creature are considered the weakest.

Unfortunately, Alisa is the weakest of all since she is unable to communicate with her inner creature. Even though she has two guys by her side to assist her in unleashing her creature, nothing happens. Aquillez, the King of the Noxious Kingdom-also known as the Kingdom of the Vampires-met her on the battlefield and became enamored with her secret ability. He did everything to make Alisa his wife.

After Alisa's return from the Noxious Kingdom, she decided to join another battle and then face their prosperous thrive's most formidable foe on the next battlefield. King Harok, ruler of the Alkera Kingdom, met her on the battlefield. This Alkera Kingdom king desires Alisa and desires to steal her from Crank, her father. In contrast to Aquillez, he isn't fixated on Alisa's hidden, unbounded power; rather, all he wants is Alisa.

Find out why Aquillez was enamored with Alisa's strength and why King Harok wants her. And let's watch as Alisa discovers her secret strength and develops into the most invincible creature.

17 parts Ongoing Mature
Before the Mortal Age, Demon giants and Elder Lords clashed in a war-torn realm. Among them were demi-god halflings, cursed with mortal blood, and spirits of the Elder Goddess Ena, who fought against Darthuum's corrupting forces. To protect the realm, Ena created Avala, a powerful descendant, but Darthuum countered with the Soul Keeper's Amulet, wielded by the giant, Groll. Avala, in a desperate gamble, cracked the Amulet, freeing the spirit Otharok, who allied with her. Their secret bond prolonged the war, but as Avala sought peace, she turned to Ulrath, a half-human warrior. Together, they conceived Balmarg, a hybrid destined to protect the Mortal Realm. Otharok, driven by jealousy, formed an army and tried to kill Avala but ultimately failed. As chaos ensued, Avala's forces drove the darkness back into the Void. In a final act, Otharok trapped Avala in a jade statue. Ena and Darthuum agreed to the Rite of Banishment, forbidding deities from entering the Mortal Realm in a civil agreement to end the chaos. Ulrath's tears revived the land for his fallen love, and their offspring, Balmarg grew to protect these new mortals. With the war over, the realms of light and dark remained separate, and the Mortal Age began, safeguarded by Balmarg's dormant power and the unbroken Rite. But in this new realm of Mortals we find not all had truly been banished and banishment may have only prevented the inevitable. Falling to the young hunter Kri and his multi-clan companions to fight back the evil laying dormant.
The Bancroft Legacy by BabyD54
8 parts Ongoing Mature
'In a world of the supernatural, if you're human, you're obviously not normal.' ~~~~~~~~~~ Aiden Cadwell has all a guy his age needs. A dependable family, a loyal best friend, and a devoted girlfriend. Or at least what he thought he had anyways. Battling his last year of high school is difficult. Avoiding the trauma his cheating ex-girlfriend and unloyal ex-best friend have left behind is even more difficult. If only high school drama was all he had to worry about. Aiden's life only gets more complicated when a new mysterious stranger appears. Secrets come to light, enemies come out of the shadows, and a new world comes to life. Laylani Blackwood's only purpose in life was one thing, to serve and protect the Bancrofts at any cost. Her grandparents had served them, her parents as well, now it was her turn to carry on the legacy. She was prepared for many things but babysitting a mortal in the mundane world was not one of them, but the king needed a guardian he could trust and she needed a way to prove herself. Her new charge? The lost Bancroft heir apparently. She was definitely not prepared for that. Nor was she prepared for the awkwardly charming, not-so-confident, and aggravating guy she now had to protect with her life. Was it too late to ask for a different job? ~~~~~~~~~~ A/N: Y'all know the usual warnings everyone puts out and they aren't any different here. This is my work, hard work, and I would very much like it to stay that way please. There is strong language and possible content, you've been warned. I'm still a new writer and learning so work with me here and help me fix it, NICELY. This is not a continuously updated story, it is a hobby at the moment that I do in my free time.

He presses his forehead against mine - the mere physical contact has me shaking. "Do you know why the fae call you, The Alchemist's Starling?" I can't answer him... I'm lost in my own emotions. "The fae can sense you," he continues, "just as they can sense Alchemists. They saw your unique, purple locks fluttering in the wind when we went outside together - like the wings of a Starling. Of course, their kind adore you, and loathe us Alchemists. The fact that they cannot have you, makes them sad. Of course, because they saw you with me - they recognised that you were mine." Someone help me... Save me from him... ***** Chisa Hatori has had a hard life. Her father left, she watched her mother die, she was torn away from her sister and placed in foster care.
