Lyra Marlene Black. Having a name like that brings assumptions, and as she had come to be aware of, those assumptions are almost always true.  

Now part of Voldemort's force of wizards, Lyra Black is a Death Eater. Her allegiances have never been to the man who's Mark she now wears, but those allegiances are being tested as her mind becomes foggier than before and the curse that has latched itself onto her starts to get aggressive. Too aggressive for her to fight back. 

The war has begun, the battle between the Light and the Dark, and somehow Lyra has found herself in the middle of it all, one side of her battling for the Light and the other begging her to fall to Darkness. The boy she loved has now become the man she cannot trust and the mind that she thought was her own, no longer fully belongs to her. The only question is, which one will prevail, and what will it take for one to get rid of the other? 

After all, there can only be one mind in control, right?
