As a shinobi who possesses immense strength and unmatched skills in medical ninjutsu, Senju Asumi spared no expense in using her skills to help those around her while she freely wandered the lands of the Five Great Nations. Though Konoha is her home, warm and welcoming, the darkness of her past has always prevented her from finding comfort in staying in one place for too long. She wishes to change that though, and envisions herself living happily in Konoha in the near future.

Her plan to settle is delayed though, for a mission far more important needs to be completed. Despite the initial struggle, her mission settles into steady progress. A certain Uchiha threatens that progress though, and not because he is the criminal the world believes him to be. An unexpected incident makes Asumi realize that he is hiding so much behind an emotionless mask. She is intrigued and slowly steps past the many layers that he's built around the true, gentle spirit he is on the inside to find shocking revelations she never could have guessed.

The lone wolf himself, pushing past pain and exhaustion through sheer will all the while, begins to stumble, unable to quell the desperate yearning to fall into Asumi's loving, healing embrace so the pain and suffering will end.

But change is difficult and brutal, and it is only time that will reveal the future of the two star-crossed lovers who only long for tender love, a warm family, and a place to unconditionally call home.
