This is a diary of Valentina, a young observant woman who enjoys travelling and exploration (not only in literal terms) in spite of a web of concerns, fears and perfectionist ambitions she keeps facing.

Valentina is hardly a typical au pair, a typical young student and not even a typical foreigner, but this is not just a story about uniqueness. It's a story about dealing with interior complexity, sometimes watching dreams come true and making life seem more creative than it tends to seem, but most of all about living according to one's values and sometimes, maybe, learning to lose the burden of uniqueness and accepting one's imperfections.
